> In December 2005, Anna Simon was awarded a research grant from the Netherlands Organization for Scientific Research (NWO, VENI).

> Anna Simon won the Young Investigator Award at the Fourth International Conference on Systemic Autoinflammatory Diseases in Bethesda.

> Both Jeroen van der Hilst and Heleen de Koning were awarded a travel stipend for the fourth International Conference on Systemic Autoinflammatory Diseases in Bethesda.

> PhD thesis Anna Simon nominated for the Dr. C.J. Roosprize, for best thesis on clinical research in the area of Internal Medicine in the Netherlands in 2004. Oral presentation of thesis and prize ceremony during Internistendagen, April 21-22, 2005.
